In March 1961, the Chelsea Youth team returned to Cannes for the third season, in the south of France, to compete in the prestigious Cannes International Football Festival.
They reached the final for the third year running and this time became winners for the second time.
In May the team went to Augsburg in Germany and again came away with the trophy.
It is again thought that no other friendly matches were played this season
