Pre-Chelsea career
Ben joined Chelsea at Under-14 level.
Chelsea career
Ben first came to attention when he played a part in the Under-16 team of 2008-09, but was a little behind some of his fellow 2009 scholars as education took priority over football for the majority of that season. He took over the Under-18 team captaincy for 2010-11 and featured across the back four, mainly playing at right-back. He also made his reserve debut in the same campaign.
Ben was released upon the expiry of his two-year scholarship in June 2011.
International
Ben has no international representation to date.

Post Chelsea Career
After leaving Chelsea, Ben signed with Brighton & Hove Albion. He made a couple of first team appearances but was released in 2013 and joined Chelsmford. A spell thereafter with Greenock Morton in Scotland saw him suffer a serious knee injury which eventually led to the end of his full-time playing career. He is currently in personal training.
