Claudio Miguel Pizarro Bosio (born 3 October 1978 in Callao, Peru), known as Claudio Pizarro, is a Peruvian international striker who played for Chelsea during the 2007-08 season, having signed from Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer of 2007. In 2005 he had scored against the Blues for Bayern Munich in a UEFA Champions League Quarter Final 2nd Leg, a tie in which Chelsea prevailed 6-5 on aggregate.

He failed to earn a regular place in the team during his season in west London; the majority of his appearances for the Blues came as a substitute (22 of 32), and he only found the net twice, in two different matches against Birmingham City. He spent the latter part of his Chelsea career on loan at previous club Werder Bremen, who he would re-join permanently in 2009.
