Damien Duff (born 2 March 1979 in Ballyboden, Republic of Ireland) is a Republic of Ireland international who played for Chelsea between 2003 and 2006. He started his professional career in 1996 at Blackburn Rovers where he spent spent seven years, before his £17m move to Chelsea in 2003. He remained with Chelsea for three seasons, helping the club win back-to-back Premier League titles, before joining Newcastle United for £5m in July 2006.
