Glen Driscoll was part of the first team fitness and conditioning team at Chelsea until 2011, having previously perfomed a similar role for the youth and reserve teams from around 2003. Under Luiz Felipe Scolari he had a spell as Performance Physio, but had previously filled the role of first team fitness coach under Avram Grant's tenure. He was later first-team conditioning coach under Guus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti. He also worked on sports science programmes for the club, linking the medical department to the team in charge of nutrition. Driscoll left the club following the arrival of André Villas-Boas in June 2011.

In October 2011 he was recruited by Swansea City, where he would work under former Chelsea and Reading colleague Brendan Rodgers. [1]
