Hernán Crespo (born 5 July 1975) is an Argentine international striker who played for Chelsea between 2003 and 2006. After a prolific career in Serie A with Parma, Lazio and Internazionale, Crespo signed for Chelsea for £16.8m in August 2003. He scored 12 goals in his debut season, before being loaned out to AC Milan for the 2004-05 season by new manager José Mourinho. He returned to Chelsea for the 2005-06 season and helped the club capture the Premier League title, but expressed a desire to return to Italy and was loaned to Inter for two years. He re-signed for Inter when his Chelsea contract expired in 2008, and subsequently moved to Genoa before returning to Parma, where he would stay until 2012.
