The Club de Fútbol Monterrey is a Mexican football club from Monterrey, Nuevo León. Founded in 1945, most of the club's success has come in recent years, including 4 league titles (in 1986, 2003, 2009 and 2010) a Copa México in 1991, and the CONCACAF Champions League in 2011 and 2012. The team play in white and navy blue vertical stripes; the source of their nickname Los Rayados (the Striped ones).

Chelsea met Monterrey in the Blues' first ever competitive match against a club from outside of Europe, in the semi-final of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup.
