Silko was one of the outstanding Under-18 players in his first season as a scholar, making a regular impact in a number of positions, and then graduated to the Development Squad where he scored and claimed and assist on his debut against Southampton. He continued as a productive regular in the Under-18s a year later but, when he moved into the Dev Squad full time in 2022, he found playing time harder to come by. Trialling elsewhere during the season, he departed at the end of his contract in June 2023.
