Before Chelsea
Estêvão began his football journey at Cruzeiro’s academy, earning early attention for his talent—so much so that he became Nike’s youngest Brazilian signing. In 2021, he moved to Palmeiras, where he rapidly ascended the ranks. He became the club’s youngest-ever debutant in December 2023, and by 2024, he was a first-team regular, famed for his flair, maturity, and scoring—netting 13 goals with 9 assists in the league—and capturing the Bola de Prata and Best Newcomer awards.
Chelsea confirmed an agreement with Palmeiras in 2024 for Estêvão to join the club after turning 18. He remained with Palmeiras for the full season, continuing his progress in Brazil’s Série A and Copa Libertadores.
